Anna Luisa Petrisko + Isola Buhawi
Multimedia artist Anna Luisa Petrisko and artist & architect Isola Buhawi collaborate on a new performance for Indexical’s studio space. Anna Luisa Petrisko is a musician, composer and video artist. Her work includes experimental opera, new age pop music, costume design, and interactive installation. Isola Tong is an artist and architect engaging in spectropoetics, site embodiment, and the intersection of post-colonial ecology and queer theory. Her intermedia output includes performance, video, placemaking, and social design.
Anna Luisa Petrisko
Anna Luisa Petrisko is a musician, composer and video artist. Her work includes experimental opera, new age pop music, costume design, and interactive installation. Working with many artists, she sees the shared labor as a way to form relationships and cultural communion. She has exhibited and performed at LACE (Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions), Hammer Museum, REDCAT, LACMA, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and The Music Center. She is a MAP Fund recipient and has been an artist-in-residence at Yaddo, Coaxial Arts Foundation, Los Angeles Performance Practice, and Echo Park Film Center.

Isola Buhawi
Isola Tong (b. 1987, Manila) is an artist and architect engaging in spectropoetics, site embodiment, and the intersection of post-colonial ecology and queer theory. Her intermedia output includes performance, video, placemaking, and social design.
She has shown in Post Territory Ujeongguk (Seoul, South Korea), MG+MSUM (Ljubljana, Slovenia), Tangent Projects (Barcelona, Spain), A+ Work of Art (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Mostyn Cymru (Wales, UK), and Sami Center for Contemporary Art (Karasjok, Norway). She is currently a graduate student in the MFA Environmental Art and Social Practice program at UC Santa Cruz, California.
