Bryce Berryessa
Bryce Berryessa is an internationally renowned cannabis expert, business entrepreneur, and cannabis advocate. He is the co-founder of six businesses based in Santa Cruz County and provides consulting in medical and adult-use retail operations, cultivation, facility design, organic farm management, manufacturing, extraction, and product development. He has served on the Board of Directors for several trade associations and helped shape policy and legislation that moved the cannabis industry forward.
Bryce’s work has been featured in publications including High Times, The Cannabis Encyclopedia, The New York Times, The Guardian, and Jorge Cervantes' Grow Bible. He was also featured on Canna Insider, Cannabis Business Minds, and The Cannabis Connection and shared best practices for organic cannabis farms at the Eco-Farm Conference. In 2019, he was listed on Marijuana Ventures Magazine's top 40 cannabis professionals under 40. He is a proud recipient of the Community Prevention Partners 2019 Vision Award, which highlights dedication and service to Santa Cruz's community.
He currently resides in Santa Cruz with his wife Crista and sons Odin and Sage.
Crista Berryessa
Crista Berryessa has always found a particular interest in how music relates to society, its peoples, their values and beliefs. Her performance techniques center around creating containers and immersive spaces for art to speak. She holds degrees from Cabrillo College, SJSU, & Cal State Los Angeles and studied abroad at the Tallinn Academy of Music and Dance in Estonia. She conducts Pacific Voices and performs regularly with the avant garde group VOSV in the Bay Area. Crista is excited to share a collection of arte emergente compositions she has composed specifically for this event.
